Get started
This page explains how to report a problem with the NTFSSecurity documentation and how to propose a change. For general information about Git and GitHub, see the GitHub documentation.
Report a problem
Report errors, suggest changes, or request new topics by creating an issue in the NTFSSecurity repository. Issues about the documentation use the Documentation label.
Make a small change
To fix a typo or a sentence, open the page in the
NTFSSecurity repository and select Edit this file. GitHub
creates a fork of the repository in your account for you. When you're done,
commit your change and open a pull request against the master
branch. A maintainer reviews the pull request before merging it.
Make a larger change
For new pages, new images, or changes to many pages, work in your own clone:
- Fork the NTFSSecurity repository.
- Clone your fork to your computer.
- Create a branch in your clone.
- Change the files in a Markdown editor.
- Push the branch to your fork.
- Open a pull request against the
masterbranch of raandree/NTFSSecurity.
